About the Role
Research: Identify strategic user research initiatives that span multiple stage groups (and possibly the entire product), and work with other Product Design/Research Managers to organize research efforts.
Be the expert on the users within your allocated area of coverage: know how they use the H Lab, their pain points, their workflows, etc.
Collaborate with Project and Product team on a wide array of research projects.
Conduct all stages of UX research: identifying, planning, driving, conducting, analyzing, and reporting out insights.
Communicate out statuses and updates of project work to stakeholders.
Use a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to apply to research questions.
Share research insights in creative ways to increase empathy.
Produce research insights that result in impact.
Know your area groups: understand the technology, experiences, and features of your assigned stage groups. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the direction and vision for your assigned stage groups.
Know your area group users: develop a deep empathic understanding of your users, learn about their needs, and identify gaps.
Respond to solution validation user research inquiries that are escalated by Product Design.
Guide Product Owners and Product Designers to conduct research with a high degree of rigor. Ensure they are following defined research processes
Actively contribute to the UX Research team culture, processes, and documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a UX researcher or related role.
Strong understanding of user research methodologies, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and observational studies.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience with healthcare industry and regulatory compliance is a plus.
