About the Role
Develop features and improvements to the Cortex product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
You’ll work with Product Discovery Team and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features within the Cortex product.
You’ll learn, collaborate and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they’ve been in the industry.
You’ll fix prioritized issues from the issue tracker.
You’ll help identify areas of improvements in the code base and help contribute to make it better
You’ll contribute to and follow our squad workflow process, alongside the H Lab community.

You’ll be joining a team of young, driven and ambitious entrepreneurs who are passionate about revolutionising healthcare services, and the impact they could create by solving some of the industry’s biggest pain points.
Your collection is already set up for you with fields and content. Add your own, or import content from a CSV file. Add fields for any type of content you want to display, such as rich text, images, videos and more. You can also collect and store information from your site visitors using input elements like custom forms and fields.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in front end developmentComfort working in a highly agile, intensively iterative software development process
Demonstrated ability to work closely with other parts of the organization such as providing technical information to product discovery team
Professional experience with NextJS or Angular or another modern JavaScript web framework (Svelte, Ember, etc)
A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
Be able to identify & improve web performance using Lighthouse
Strictly apply Typescript feature in codebase
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
